Logistics Executive (Nawalparasi)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Executive to join our team in Nawalparasi, Nepal. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods throughout our manufacturing process, from procurement to final delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory items.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective inventory management practices.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with freight carriers to secure cost-effective and timely transportation services.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant logistics and transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments (production, sales, procurement) and external partners (suppliers, customers).
  • Prepare and maintain logistics-related documentation, including reports, contracts, and invoices.
  • May provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a logistics role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize logistics operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
