The Purpose of The Role:

The Product Manager is responsible for maintaining a performance portfolio of products and services for The KPI Institute. It works collaboratively with the representatives of the core business departments across the entire lifecycle of a product, successfully managing each stage in the process. The product and services categories inside The KPI Institute’s portfolio include research reports, publications, indexes, memberships, subscriptions, training courses, certifications etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Market analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with core business functions involved in the development of the service/product to provide insights on required features. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop the proper packaging for the service/product and oversee the product launch
  • Support product development: Provide market insights for product/service design and follow-up with Heads to ensure progress in product development, test and collect continuous feedback from clients to optimize the product/service
  • Product launch: Drive successful product launches by developing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing collateral, and providing sales training and support.
  • Performance monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and iterate on features based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Stakeholder communication: Communicate product vision, status updates, and roadmap changes to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Continuous improvement: Proactively seek feedback, share feedback to support the reiteration of the production process, and implement best practices to improve product management methodologies and team efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ marketing
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product managemenT
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics to inform decision-making
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify, and translate customer needs into products/services
  • Creative problem-solver
  • Effective in engaging with stakeholders across functional areas
  • Great communication skills both in writing and speaking
  • Excellent abilities in operating the Microsoft Office package, especially PPT, Word and Excel
  • Excel in written and verbal English
