Job Description
Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team at Hotel Mirage Regency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 3+ years in hotel sales, with experience in driving revenue growth and building relationships with Indian travel agencies. You will be responsible for developing strategies to increase room bookings, restaurant business, conferences, and events. A deep understanding of city hotel operations and connections with key Indian travel partners are essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, particularly Indian-based operators.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, including partnerships and corporate accounts.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on trends and opportunities.
  • Promote the hotel’s services (rooms, dining, conferences) to potential clients.
  • Coordinate with the hotel's marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts.
  • Organize and participate in sales calls, travel to target regions (primarily India), and attend relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, analyzing key performance metrics.
  • Handle contract negotiations and close deals to secure long-term business relationships.


Basic Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a city hotel environment.
  • Strong connections with Indian travel agencies and tour operators.
  • Excellent understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and room distribution channels.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within India and Nepal as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in or managing sales efforts in the South Indian market (especially Bangalore).
  • Familiarity with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and digital marketing strategies.
