Summary

Cedar Gate Technologies is seeking a Help Desk Trainee to provide first-line technical support and diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. This role offers a strong foundation in IT support and customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design Provide first-level technical support to end-users via ticket, email, and in-person
• Assist with basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Track and monitor the status of open tickets, ensuring timely resolution
• Provide guidance on common applications and operating systems (e.g., Windows, MS Office)
• Escalate complex issues to senior Help Desk staff if needed
• Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops and peripheral devices
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications
• Create and update documentation for IT procedures and issue resolutions
• Contribute to the development of user guides and FAQs
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering , Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent) 
• Basic understanding of computer systems and networking concepts
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends if required
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Customer service orientation with attention to detail
