Shikhar Insurance Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Digitization IT Officer to lead the company’s efforts in digital transformation. Responsibilities

  • Digital Transformation Leadership: Drive Shikhar Insurance’s digital transformation, leading the integration of digital platforms and APIs across various systems.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with fintech, insurtech, and other digital service providers to enhance Shikhar’s digital offerings and operational capabilities.
  • API and Digital Integration: Manage API integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring seamless operation, scalability, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Contract and Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage agreements with digital service providers, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards.
  • Innovation and Digital Growth: Proactively seek out new digital technologies, platforms, and partnerships to expand Shikhar Insurance’s digital ecosystem and drive business growth.
  • Market and Digital Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, applying these insights to inform digital strategy.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to assess the performance of digital platforms, making informed recommendations to optimize digital initiatives and partnerships.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that digitization efforts enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with IT, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure the successful implementation of digital projects across the business.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all digital operations, including integrations and partnerships, adhere to regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage digital projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders across the company.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training internal teams on new digital tools and processes, supporting change management to ensure smooth adoption of digital solutions.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare regular reports on digital growth initiatives, partnerships, and integration performance for senior management.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital transformation, partnerships, or business development within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of API management, digital platform integration, and third-party service partnerships.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing agreements with external partners and vendors.
  • Deep knowledge of the insurance industry, including regulatory compliance and digital trends.
  • Expertise in digital marketing techniques (SEO, SEM, GDN, Social Media Ads) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in using data analytics and business intelligence tools to inform strategy.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a focus on innovation and growth.
