Senior Project Lead - Real Estate Development (Multipurpose Commercial Building)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to manage the development of a large-scale multipurpose commercial building. This senior role requires extensive expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and real estate development. You will lead the project from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a strategic leader, you will oversee all aspects of this complex development and ensure it aligns with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution of the multipurpose commercial building project, setting objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure long-term project viability and financial performance.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring the highest standards in design, functionality, safety, and efficiency for commercial use.
• Provide financial oversight, managing costs, approving budgets, and ensuring the project remains profitable.
• Identify project risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, investors, contractors, and senior leadership, providing regular updates and reports.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, site managers, and contractors, driving collaboration towards successful project delivery.
• Ensure quality assurance at every stage, including the final inspection and handover, with a focus on commercial-grade standards and post-construction support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of senior project management experience, preferably within commercial real estate or construction.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Strong understanding of construction management, building codes, commercial property standards, and safety regulations.
• Expertise in project management tools and software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive complex projects to completion.
