Job Title: Server Administrator
Location: Bhaktapur, Near Sallaghari (Katunje)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. You will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our server operations, with additional expertise in distributed systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, hardware, and software.
System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity. Proactively address potential issues before they affect operations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve server-related issues, including hardware failures, network problems, and software bugs.
Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect server data and resources from unauthorized access and attacks.
Backup & Recovery: Manage backup solutions and perform regular backups. Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
Optimization: Optimize server performance through configuration adjustments and resource management.
Qualifications:
1) Experience with server operating systems (Linux).
2) Proficiency in building distributed file systems.
3) Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
4) Strong knowledge of server setup and management.
