We're a new upstart venture based in the Jhamsikhel area (Bhanimandal), Lalitpur, Nepal. Our mission is to boost entrepreneurship and culture in Nepal with innovative approaches to advertising and publishing.


Role Description

We're looking for a video creator we can work with to create verité/documentary style videos, and the ability to do a slightly more commercial look. This is a full-time employment hybrid remote/office-based role as a Content Creator at Creative Himalayan located in Lalitpur. The Content Creator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with video production, motion graphics, multimedia, video editing, and video post-production. This role is located in Lalitpur with flexibility for some remote work.

  1. Framing/Composition
  2. Exposure/Lighting
  3. Motion/Stability
  4. Audio


  • Personal Responsibility and Initiative
  • Video Production and Video Editing skills
  • Experience in video post-production
  • Strong creative and technical skills in video production
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Davinci Resolve preferred, but not a requirement)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills,
  • Able to speak English fluently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong portfolio of your own work that you are able to explain your role in (doesn't have to be all professional work)
  • Experience in the creative industry is a plus


A portfolio of your own video work is required to apply.


Responsibilities

Will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Create and document pre-production plans for video projects as assigned by Employer.
  • Prepare well-structured storyboards, moodboards, or other content drafting documents using digital applications as directed by Employer.
  • Research subjects for video projects as directed by Employer.
  • Researching and developing content creation opportunities and plans, understanding Employer objectives, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve Employer’s marketing goals.
  • Assist with contacting relevant individuals in order to obtain interviews, access to facilities, properties or locations related to video projects.
  • Communicate regularly with management or Company Director about ongoing projects.
  • Attend in-person official meetings as required by Employer.
  • Record and conduct interviews on video as directed by Employer.
  • Record archival video footage (B-roll) for use in projects as directed by Employer.
  • Edit final videos for publication as directed by Employer.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications and maintaining personal and professional networks.
