Job Description

As a Junior HR Officer at Zapp Services, you will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administration. You will support the HR team in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in human resources within a dynamic and fast-paced company.


Responsibilities:


Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in posting job vacancies on various platforms, tracking and maintaining a database of the candidate pool.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates.
  • Support in conducting reference checks and preparing offer letters.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including document collection and orientation.

Employee Relations:

  • Assist in addressing employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support in managing employee records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Help in organizing employee engagement activities and events.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee databases with accurate information.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and analytics.
  • Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate timekeeping and leave records.
  • Help in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Training & Development:

  • Assist in identifying training needs and scheduling training sessions.
  • Support in tracking employee development and performance management processes.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management or 

similar field

  • Proven work experience of minimum 1-2 years, with a strong understanding of HR best practices
  • Effective leadership and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
