Ghumam is an emerging travel platform dedicated to providing hassle-free travel services to tourists in Nepal. We offer everything from hotel and bus bookings to guided tours and travel packages, connecting travelers with the best of Nepal’s tourism.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service & Booking Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring smooth communication, managing backend bookings, and overseeing service delivery. This role requires someone who is well-versed in the tourism sector, fluent in both English and Nepali, and able to remain calm under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:

• Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding bookings, tour packages, and travel services.

• Provide accurate information about destinations, tour packages, and travel-related services.

• Manage and track bookings via our backend system.

• Coordinate with service providers (hotels, guides, travel operators) to ensure all bookings and services are fulfilled.

• Calmly handle pressure situations and troubleshoot any issues that arise with bookings or customer queries.

• Communicate any changes in bookings or services to the relevant operators.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nepal’s tourism sector, including new travel trends, packages, and destinations.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing queries, complaints, or service issues promptly.


Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service, travel operations, or the tourism sector is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Nepali (spoken and written).

• Ability to remain calm and handle high-pressure situations efficiently.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with booking systems and basic tech skills to manage the backend.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
