Position Title: Laboratory Facilitator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the tutors in planning and conducting laboratory experiments and activities.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the science laboratory.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient lab environment.
• Ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety procedures and protocols in the lab.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of lab supplies and equipment Keep records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the science department to develop and enhance the science curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing a laboratory, preferably in an educational setting.
• Experience in teaching or providing instructional support in a lab environment is highly desirable.
