Job Position: PHP/Laravel Developer

Job Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy Laravel applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
• Proficient in the Laravel framework and PHP programming language.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Livewire.
• Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Demonstrates both strong team working abilities and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with Docker for containerized application development and deployment.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Gitlab.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Additional Skills (optional but advantageous):

• Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Symfony or CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
• Familiarity with Filament.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (PHPUnit, Pest).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, particularly Keycloak.
• Experience with message broker systems, especially RabbitMQ.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer.
