We (Altitude Himalaya Pvt. Ltd.) are a Nepal-based adventure tour operator committed to delivering exciting and genuine travel experiences to travelers from all over the world. As a Travel Content Writer, it will be your job to write exciting and educational pieces on Nepal's amazing landscapes, fascinating history, and thrilling outdoor activities.

Job Summary: 

As a Travel Content Writer for our Nepal-based adventure travel firm, you will be responsible for developing engaging content that motivates and educates our target audience. You will be responsible for promoting our adventure trips and showcasing the unique experiences offered in Nepal through the creation of compelling narratives, blog articles, website material, and social media updates.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Construct interesting posts for our blog, location guides, itineraries, travel recommendations, and social media updates to advertise our adventure trips. Make sure the material is consistent with our brand's tone and appeals to our ideal customers.
2. Do your homework and verify all the information you find on the best places to go on an adventure, the best things to see and do in the surrounding area, and the best outdoor activities in Nepal. Make sure anything you post is true and up-to-date by checking its facts.
3. Optimize your writing for search engines by using SEO (search engine optimization) strategies to raise our site's visibility and position in relevant results. Make use of search engine optimization (SEO) tools including keywords, meta descriptions, and citations.
4. Align content strategy with overall marketing goals through collaboration with the marketing team. Collaborate closely with artists such as photographers and filmmakers to produce compelling multimedia pieces.
5. Editing and proofreading text for correctness, readability, and conformity to established brand standards. Read it over for typos and grammatical mistakes. Maintain uniformity of style, language, and content.
6. Help get the word out about our material by promoting it via multiple channels like our website, blog, social media, and external publications. Participate in the conversation by answering questions and comments.
7. Keep Current on Market Trends: Learn about the new places to visit and exciting things to do in Nepal. Improve your travel writing and content marketing skills continually.

Required Qualifications:

1. Education and/or experience comparable to a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a closely related subject.
2. Possessing a solid body of published work as a travel writer or content provider.
3. Superb writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, as well as a meticulous eye for detail.
4. Keyword research and SEO strategies expertise.
5. The ability to modify one's writing voice for a variety of contexts and readers.
6. Capacity to obtain data from a variety of sources and excellent research abilities.
7. Ingenuity and a hunger to share stories.
8. It would be ideal if you were familiar with the outdoor recreation and adventure tourist scene in Nepal.
9. Ability with online advertising and social media is highly desirable.

Office Timing: 10 AM - 5:30 PM

Office Location: Opposite to British Embassy, Lainchaur, Kathmandu

Salary: 20-25K
