It is essential to have relevant experience or a passion for the industry. The Marketing person should fully understand and like the products/services they're trying to sell and have a strong understanding of marketing and business processes.

Marketing Manager often work with the Sales Teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.

The Marketing Manager role encompasses a multifaceted approach to driving strategic marketing initiatives across various channels and platforms. With expertise spanning key pillars of marketing, including marketing strategy, brand strategy, market research, digital marketing, and plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives.

The Marketing Manager role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage a diverse skill set and drive impactful marketing initiatives that contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization. By harnessing expertise in marketing strategy, brand management, and digital marketing, the Marketing Managerwill play a key role in driving brand visibility, engagement, and customer acquisition in a dynamic and competitive market landscape.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies: to define the objectives and strategic directions of the marketing department. This involves developing action plans, identifying target audiences and appropriate communication channels, setting budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of campaigns.
  • Brand strategy: develop and implement the brand strategy, working to define and communicate the brand's values, promises, and personality. This may involve managing the visual identity of the brand as well as creating messaging and marketing materials that accurately reflect the brand's identity and positioning in the market.
  • Market research: conduct studies and market analyses to better understand consumer behavior, preferences, and relevant market trends. This involves collecting and interpreting data to provide useful information and insights for developing marketing strategies and making decisions.
  • Website development and management: create and update the company's website content, ensuring it is optimized for a pleasant user experience and for good performance in search engines. This involves working with content management systems (CMS), as well as basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Social media marketing: plan and implement marketing campaigns on social media platforms, using both organic and paid methods to attract and engage the audience. This may include creating and scheduling posts, managing paid advertising, monitoring interactions, and analyzing results to optimize campaign performance.
  • Content marketing: to create and distribute valuable and relevant content for the target audience. This may include writing articles, blogs, infographics, videos, and other marketing materials, as well as managing distribution channels to ensure proper exposure of the content.
  • Customer relationship management (CRM): track and manage customer interactions, including communicating with them through email and other channels. This may involve segmenting the customer database, personalizing messages and offers, and monitoring feedback to improve customer relationships and increase loyalty to the brand.
  • Email marketing: develop and implement email marketing campaigns, create personalized messages to different audience segments. This may include planning and scheduling campaigns, writing persuasive content, and monitoring performance to optimize open rates, clicks, and conversions.
  • Community management: monitor and interact with the brand's online community, managing comments, questions, and user feedback. This involves maintaining an active and engaging presence on social media platforms and other online forums, responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO): contribute to managing paid advertising campaigns on search engines, as well as optimizing website content and structure to improve visibility and ranking in organic search results. This involves working with relevant keywords, optimizing meta descriptions and other on-page elements, as well as monitoring and reporting results to evaluate the impact of SEM and SEO activities.
  • Support PR efforts by coordinating media relations, drafting press releases, and cultivating positive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned

We expect you to:

  • Educational background: BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Previous experience: 5+ years proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Must have skills: Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods, demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, well-organized and detail-oriented, commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • Knowledge Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (at least basic knowledges in graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite or similar & CRM) and other applications (Web analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Have a proactive attitude and be a client-oriented person
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities
