Job Description

IME Limited is seeking a Business Analyst for its Kathmandu, Nepal Location. This role is responsible to assist in the planning development and release of the task concerned, module. Also, assist the BA team, and collaborate with the Development team, QA team, and Project Management team in prioritizing the enhancement, development, and release of the concerned module. This position also makes sure that the project quality standards and deadlines are met.


Job Description

  • Gap analysis between business requirements and technical specification
  • Proactively communicating between different stakeholders/key business users that have implications on the effectiveness of running the business
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Prepare business-related documents (SRS, BRD), including Use Case, Flow Chart, Activity Flow Diagram, etc.
  • Work with the Product Head and Project Lead’s to define the product vision and roadmap in detail
  • Do backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and product development
  • Building and maintaining the customer relationship
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope
  • Ensure the developed system (feature) are as per business requirements before the release
  • Conduct an in-depth study of business processes and workflows to find areas for improvement and optimization


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent degree in a related field.
  • Around 3 years of experience in relevant field. (Experience in the FinTech domain are preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC.
  • Strong documentation abilities, including expertise in developing BRDs, SRSs, and user stories.
  • Excellent command of English and Technical Document preparation.
  • Good time management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Good command over Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools(JIRA, Confluence).
