We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Event Lead to lead the planning, execution, outreach, and branding of a major conference. This conference will bring together educational leaders, corporate executives, and policymakers from across Asia to address critical issues and drive improvements in the industry academia. The Event Lead will have extensive experience in raising sponsorship, conference management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement and event branding.


1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Event Planning: Lead the overall planning and execution of the conference, including drafting objectives, stakeholder mapping, developing timelines, and coordinating all aspects of the event.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the event budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.


2. Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partnerships: Facilitate and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and media outlets to enhance the events profile and attract high-level participants.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistical aspects of the event, including venue selection, travel arrangements, accommodation, and on-site management.
  • Prepare and update a detailed FAQ document for participants.
  • Promote the speakers, panellists, chief guests and other key stakeholders.
  • Arrange media coverage and promotional opportunities for guests.


3. Branding and Marketing:

  • Brand Strategy: Oversee the comprehensive branding strategy for the conference to ensure strong market presence and alignment with the events goals.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Facilitate targeted marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to drive awareness and attendance.
  • Promotional Materials: Oversee the creation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and digital content. Prepare the merchandise, token of love, program schedule and oversee setups.


4. Execution and On-Site Management:

  • Event Execution: Supervise on-site operations during the conference, ensuring all activities run smoothly and addressing any issues that arise. Oversee event production including audio/visual equipment, stage setup, and decor.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient event operations.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct a post-event evaluation to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.


Skills and Requirement

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale conferences or events, with a track record of successful execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in outreach and engagement with high-level stakeholders, including educational leaders, corporate executives, and policymakers.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and branding strategies.
