Role Description

This full-time, on-site role at AGK Partners Nepal Pvt Ltd in Kathmandu involves serving as a Tax Senior. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns for non-resident landlord companies, ensuring strict compliance with UK tax laws and deadlines. You will research and apply tax relief options, stay current with tax legislation, and expertly manage HMRC inquiries. Collaborating with other departments is essential for gathering accurate information and ensuring precise filings. You’ll proactively handle tax compliance issues, provide guidance during audits, and mentor junior staff, contributing to their growth and the team's overall efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Relevant professional qualifications, fully or part qualified, such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) or Chartered Accountant (from ICAN / ICAI)
  • 3 years of experience in related field
  • Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax
