A renowned Boutique Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will support the Sales Manager in driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and maximizing hotel occupancy through strategic sales initiatives. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the hospitality industry, with strong sales acumen and a knack for client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales Initiatives: Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agents, and event organizers to drive bookings and increase sales.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify potential clients, conduct market research, and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the hotel’s unique features, services, and value proposition.
  • Coordinate Sales Activities: Work closely with the Sales Manager to coordinate sales activities, including organizing site visits, FAM (familiarization) trips, and promotional events.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets using CRM systems and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work with other hotel departments, such as front office, food and beverage, and event management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after their stay or event.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and hotel management systems.
  • Results-driven, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
