Job Description

As CTO, you will lead Swivt’s technology strategy, from architecture and engineering to R&D. We are seeking a leader with extensive experience in scaling teams and developing product roadmaps that align with our business goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the next phase of Swivt’s growth and help position us as a leader in the tech industry.

You will have a strong influence on the company’s technological vision and will work on a range of key tasks, from managing complex tech systems to developing scalable platforms. We need someone who can lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams while simultaneously playing a hands-on technical role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall architecture and development of Swivt’s product suite, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment between product development and business growth objectives.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while establishing best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Oversee full-stack development with a deep understanding of front-end, back-end, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies, including AI/ML, Web3, and blockchain to align with the company’s product offerings.
• Develop and implement robust system designs and architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing services and products.
• Ensure system reliability through consistent monitoring, logging, and performance optimization, applying DevSecOps principles.
• Manage the lifecycle of product development from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver features in line with market needs.
• Engage with external clients to provide technical solutions and guide them through complex integration challenges.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise software, making recommendations on the adoption of new tools and frameworks.
• Participate in investor meetings, fundraising rounds, and strategic discussions to represent Swivt’s technical vision and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years in senior technical leadership roles, with at least 5 years as CTO or similar.
• Extensive experience in software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), DevOps, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.
• Expertise in advanced technologies such as AI/ML, Web3, blockchain, and their practical application in enterprise products.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js/React.js), and strong familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
• Strong financial acumen and an understanding of managing technology budgets, P&L, and technical debt.
• Expertise in leading and scaling SaaS products, building cloud-native solutions, and understanding system security and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
