Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at SCC in Kathmandu. As the Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for social media content creation, digital marketing, marketing communication, and executing social media marketing strategies on various platforms.


This is a 3 months paid internship till the end of October. We hope that this exposure will help you get an entryway onto the job market. At the end of the three months, we will evaluate your job performance, and if everything works well, we will offer you a full-time role. And if at any point of the internship, we feel like you are contributing so much that you are driving the company's revenue significantly, you will be compensated accordingly or offered a full time role.


The work hours are 11 AM to 6 PM Sun to Fri (somewhat negotiable).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fun and engaging content creation for multiple brands
  • Social Media Management for multiple brands
  • Monitor social media and operational performance metrics and report them to the team. You will have a Hiring Manager who'll be giving you supervision.
  • Data Entry document management and reporting
  • Comment Marketing


Qualifications

  • Have used social media and love to create content (or want to create content)
  • Enjoy reels and TikTok and understand which content creates engagement and what attracts people
  • Feel like you can contribute to an organization with your life experiences so far
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Good to have:

  • Adobe Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effect, Photoshop, and/or other tools in Adobe Suite
  • Experience with Canva or equivalent tools, Knowledge of digital marketing is a plus
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Operations Management, or a related field.
