Job tittle: Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Experience: 5-7 years of experience

Education: Master's Degree preferred

Work hours: 9AM - 6PM Monday-Friday

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Salary: Upto 200k

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of web applications, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend code using React, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and backend developers, to ensure that software solutions are integrated and meet business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to team members, including code reviews, mentoring, and training.
• Work closely with the UI/UX lead to ensure that software solutions are visually appealing and user-friendly.
• Lead assessments for new features to develop and prepare design documentation.
• Adopt Industry Best Practices around Software Development .
• Ensure that software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in frontend software development.
• Experienced software engineer and mission motivated.
• Responsible for the deliverables and a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience leading development teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of React, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with TDD and other agile software development methodologies
• Proficient at writing technical documentation
• Proficient in using NodeJS to create task-runners, build tools and bundlers (webpack) and package management (NPM).
