Job tittle: Senior Software Engineer - Frontend
Experience: 5-7 years of experience
Education: Master's Degree preferred
Work hours: 9AM - 6PM Monday-Friday
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
Salary: Upto 200k
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of web applications, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend code using React, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and backend developers, to ensure that software solutions are integrated and meet business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to team members, including code reviews, mentoring, and training.
- Work closely with the UI/UX lead to ensure that software solutions are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Lead assessments for new features to develop and prepare design documentation.
- Adopt Industry Best Practices around Software Development .
- Ensure that software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in frontend software development.
- Experienced software engineer and mission motivated.
- Responsible for the deliverables and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading development teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Expert-level knowledge of React, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
- Experience with TDD and other agile software development methodologies
- Proficient at writing technical documentation
- Proficient in using NodeJS to create task-runners, build tools and bundlers (webpack) and package management (NPM).
