Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code as part of our development team. You will work under the supervision of the Analytics and Product Security managers, contributing to scalable and maintainable systems. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of hands-on experience to ensure high code quality, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze software requirements to define effective technical solutions
• Architect and design scalable, maintainable systems that meet both current and future business needs
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in planning, executing, and delivering assigned projects
• Develop and implement complete software solutions or specific components using Java, Groovy, or Grails
• Ensure code quality by writing industry-standard code, performing unit tests, and conducting thorough code reviews
• Debug, diagnose, and resolve software defects to maintain system reliability
• Create and review comprehensive technical documentation to support development and maintenance
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Continuously improve development processes and practices to enhance efficiency and product quality
• Perform other related tasks as needed to support project and team success

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Process-oriented
• Strong communication and leadership skills
