Position: Senior Product Manager

Reports to: Product Leader

Department: Product Management

Time: 7:15 pm to 4:15 am

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Product Manager at ITsutra will be a key player in bridging the gap between engineering, design, and business units to deliver high-quality products that align with the company’s strategic goals. Working under the Product Leader, the Product Manager will collaborate with the Engineering Leader, System Administrator, and other departments (Consultant Management, Finance, Marketing & Branding, Sales, and Training & Support) to define, develop, and launch innovative products. This role will focus on creating a balanced product team environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Alignment:
  • Develop a clear product vision that supports ITsutra’s business objectives and meets market needs.
  • Work closely with the Product Leader to ensure alignment with company-wide strategic goals.
  • Regularly interact with other business units (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance) to understand their needs and how the product can support overall business success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with the Engineers to integrate technical feasibility, design excellence, and customer requirements into product development.
  • Engage with Consultant Management, Sales, and Training & Support teams to gather insights, align on product goals, and ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Roadmap and Lifecycle Management:
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, feature releases, and development timelines.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that product goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Continuously monitor product performance and customer feedback to make data-driven improvements.
  • Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:
  • Lead efforts to gather and prioritize product requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, and end-users.
  • Use data and market research to identify new opportunities, features, and enhancements that add value to ITsutra’s offerings.
  • Create clear product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Performance Metrics and Optimization:
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success, such as user adoption, engagement rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact.
  • Implement feedback loops to capture insights from users, stakeholders, and support teams, using this data to inform product enhancements.
  • Work with the Engineering Leader to optimize product usability, functionality, and overall user experience.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving:
  • Identify potential risks related to product development and deployment, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during development and post-launch, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration:
  • Foster a collaborative work environment within the product team, encouraging open communication and innovative thinking.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to align teams on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates to the Product Leader and other senior management on product progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a successful track record of managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of product management processes, including roadmap development, requirements gathering, and market analysis.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with engineering, and IT operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in the IT industry or working in a technology-focused environment is a plus.
