Job Overview: As a Technical Sales Support, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our sales and technical teams. You will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support, assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, and ensuring our clients have a clear understanding of how our software solutions meet their needs. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who also enjoys working directly with customers and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during sales presentations, demos, and client meetings.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our software products and be able to articulate their features, benefits, and technical requirements to potential clients.
- Proposal Preparation: Assist in the creation of technical proposals and documentation that clearly outlines the value proposition of our software solutions.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Work with clients to understand their specific business needs and recommend tailored software solutions.
- Technical Liaison: Act as a liaison between the sales team and the technical team to ensure accurate and timely communication of customer requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide technical training to sales staff and support clients during the onboarding process.
- Troubleshooting: Assist clients with technical issues during the pre-sales phase and coordinate with the support team to resolve any post-sales issues.
- Market Feedback: Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to the product development team to help shape future product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years in a technical sales support, technical consulting, or similar role, preferably within the software industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software products, including experience with software implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Customer Focus: A customer-first mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and address customer needs.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
