Job Description: 

The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial strategies, operations, and performance of our group of companies (comprising of assurance and advisory services, consulting services, IT services) within the group. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, the Senior Finance Manager will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring financial health and sustainability of the group's operations. 


Key Responsibilities: 


Financial Strategy and Planning: 


  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the group's overall objectives and growth plans 
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes across all group companies 
  • Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of business strategies and initiatives 
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
  • Facilitate for annual audit, internal audit requirements and ensure statutory tax and other regulatory filings within the statutory deadline 
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement specific to the Nepali market. 
  • Utilize automation tools and technologies to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency. 

Automation of Financial Processes: 

  • Lead efforts to automate financial processes across the group companies, leveraging technology solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, particularly in areas such as accounting, invoicing, and financial data management. 
  • Implement best practices and tools for automation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and data security standards. 

Preparation of Analytical and MIS Reports: 


  • Develop and prepare analytical and management information system (MIS) reports tailored to the specific needs of stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and regulatory authorities. 
  • Design and customize dashboards and reporting templates to provide actionable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and track progress against strategic objectives. 

Risk Management and Compliance: 

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks. 
  • Monitor and assess financial risks, including currency exchange risk, regulatory compliance, and local taxation requirements. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards applicable to the group's operations. 

Investment and Capital Management: 

  • Evaluate investment opportunities in Nepal and provide strategic recommendations to optimize the group's capital allocation 
  • Manage capital structure, liquidity, and cash flow for group companies, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and funding sources. 
  • Foster relationships with local financial institutions, investors, and government agencies to support financing and investment activities 

Qualifications and Skills: 


  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with ACCA qualification or semi-qualified CA will be preferred. 
  • At least 2+ years of proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within a complex corporate environment or group structure. 
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans, drive operational efficiency, and deliver results in a dynamic business environment. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels. 
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, capable of anticipating challenges and identifying opportunities for business improvement. 
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and professional development.
