Job Description

  • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, parking lots, and perimeter, to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Monitor and operate surveillance systems (CCTV), access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Ensure all entry points, restricted areas, and high-risk locations are secured at all times.
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter potential threats and offer reassurance to guests and staff.
  • Assist in managing crowd control during events, check-ins, or high-traffic periods to maintain order and safety.
  • Escort guests or employees as needed to ensure their safety, especially in late hours or secluded areas.
  • Address guest concerns related to safety and security in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Investigate and report any suspicious activities, thefts, accidents, or other security-related incidents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and events.
  • Assist in conducting investigations into security breaches or suspicious activities, working with local law enforcement if necessary.
  • Follow up on incident reports to ensure proper resolution and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel security policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  • Assist in enforcing the hotel's rules and regulations among guests and staff to maintain a secure environment.
  • Participate in regular security briefings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding security operations, guest information, and hotel procedures.
