Job Description

  • Design and develop training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses that address the needs of various departments within the hotel.
  • Create and update training materials, including manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations.
  • Ensure that all training programs align with the hotel’s service standards, brand values, and operational goals.
  • Conduct regular training needs assessments by consulting with department heads, reviewing performance data, and gathering employee feedback.
  • Identify skill gaps and areas for improvement across the hotel’s workforce.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address identified training needs.
  • Facilitate in-person training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
  • Oversee the coordination of external trainers or consultants when necessary.
  • Utilize various training methodologies, including on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring, to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Develop and manage employee development programs, such as leadership development, succession planning, and cross-training opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees seeking career advancement within the hotel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of employees participating in development programs.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications.
  • Ensure that all employees complete mandatory training programs, such as health and safety, diversity, and harassment prevention.
