Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Game Developer at Sigma Labs. The Game Developer will be responsible for game programming, gameplay programming, and utilizing object-oriented programming (OOP) to create immersive gaming experiences.


Qualifications

  • Game Programming and Gameplay Programming skills
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience in Game Design
  • A passion for creating engaging and interactive games
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field


Requirements

  • Proven track record of working on successful RPG titles from concept to release.
  • Extensive experience with game development frameworks and engines such as Unity.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in game development (e.g. C#).
  • Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player engagement dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Experience in developing 2D based role playing games
