We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dillibazar, Kathmandu. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing field of DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Support the containerization of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
• Assist in the management and configuration of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Continuously learn and adopt new DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

Educational Background:

• Degree: Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: Basic certifications in DevOps tools, cloud platforms, or Linux (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Operating Systems: Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, including shell scripting.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery concepts with exposure to tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automation Tools: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Networking Basics: Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and load balancing.
• Monitoring and Logging: Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Collaboration: Willingness to work in a team and collaborate with developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Openness to learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Experience:

• Internship or Projects: Any prior internship experience or hands-on projects related to DevOps, cloud, or automation is highly valuable.
• Coding: Basic programming skills, particularly in Python, Bash, or another scripting language.
