This is a full-time remote role for a Game Developer. The Game Developer will be responsible for game programming, gameplay programming, programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and game design. The Game Developer will also be responsible for collaborating with the design team and testing and debugging games.


Qualifications

  • Design, develop game functionality specifically tailored for MMO gameplay using Unity.
  • Design and architect the overall structure of the game, encompassing both front-end and back-end elements.
  • Solid experience in 2D game development with Unity gaming engine.
  • Programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Game Programming skills
  • Experience in Game Design
  • Ability to develop and debug games efficiently and effectively
  • Experience in the development of browser-based games.
  • A portfolio showcasing game development projects.
  • Manage the development roadmap, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of milestones and project goals.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize performance, stability, and code quality.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in game development to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Able to document the overall system design process.


Requirements

  • Proven track record of working on successful RPG titles from concept to release.
  • Extensive experience with game development frameworks and engines such as Unity.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in game development (e.g. C#).
  • Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player engagement dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Experience in developing 2D based role playing games.
