Job Description
The Primary Level Incharge is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the primary section, grades 3, 4, and 5. This role ensures the effective implementation of the curriculum, student discipline, teacher supervision, and overall development of students. The Incharge will work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to maintain a high standard of education and a positive learning environment.
Academic Leadership:
- Ensure the effective implementation of the curriculum as per school guidelines.
- Monitor lesson plans, classroom teaching, and assessment methods.
- Support teachers in adopting innovative teaching methodologies.
- Conduct regular meetings with teachers to discuss academic progress and challenges.
- Organize remedial programs for students needing extra support.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Prepare class schedules, timetables, and duty rosters.
- Ensure smooth execution of school events, activities, and examinations.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic performance reports.
- Supervise the cleanliness, safety, and infrastructure of the primary section.
Teacher Supervision & Professional Development:
- Monitor teacher performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct classroom observations and mentoring sessions.
- Organize training sessions and workshops for teachers’ professional development.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to school policies among staff.
Student Discipline & Well-being:
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Address student behavioral issues in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Ensure the emotional, social, and physical well-being of students.
- Implement and oversee student counseling and support services.
Parent & Community Engagement:
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings and orientations.
- Collaborate with the school community to enhance the learning experience.
Extracurricular & Co-curricular Activities:
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, clubs, and competitions.
- Organize educational trips, special assemblies, and celebrations.
- Promote leadership and teamwork skills among students.
Job Specification
- Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching or school administrative experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor teachers and guide students effectively.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Smart in digital literacy.
