Job Description
1. Teaching & Lesson Planning
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to explain complex mathematical concepts.
- Integrate technology and real-life applications to make learning more engaging.
2. Student Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare and conduct quizzes, tests, and examinations to assess students’ understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback and support for students needing extra help.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
3. Classroom Management & Student Engagement
- Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Use diverse instructional strategies to cater to different learning styles.
4. Collaboration & Professional Development
- Work closely with other teachers and academic staff to improve the teaching process.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions for professional growth.
- Participate in curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
5. Extracurricular & Student Support
- Guide math-related competitions and activities.
- Offer additional tutoring or remedial classes for struggling students.
- Support students in career guidance related to mathematics and STEM fields.
Job Specification
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant training is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Experience with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics.
