Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade Teacher to work with students in [Primary/Secondary] grades.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing students’ academic progress, and providing a supportive and positive learning environment. The Grade Teacher will be responsible for helping students build strong academic foundations, enhance their critical thinking skills, and promote holistic development.
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum for the assigned grade.
- Use diverse teaching methods, including lectures, interactive activities, group work, and hands-on exercises.
- Integrate various subjects (e.g., language arts, math, science, social studies) into a comprehensive learning experience.
- Modify lesson plans to address the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel respected and encouraged.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain discipline.
- Promote active student participation and create opportunities for students to engage in discussions, questions, and collaborative work.
Assessments and Evaluation:
- Monitor and assess students’ academic progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback on assignments, reports, and projects to help students improve.
- Track student performance and make necessary adjustments to teaching strategies based on student needs.
Support Student Development:
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth, helping them build strong study habits and positive attitudes toward learning.
- Provide individual or small group support for students who need additional help.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their personal best, both academically and socially.
Communication with Parents and Colleagues:
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, areas of improvement, and strengths.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and school events.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to ensure cohesive and coordinated learning experiences.
Classroom Environment and Resources:
- Create a well-organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Utilize teaching aids, technology, and other resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Prepare and maintain instructional materials, supplies, and resources for lessons.
Extracurricular Activities:
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as after-school clubs, sports, and cultural events, to foster students’ well-rounded development.
- Organize or assist with field trips, school programs, and community outreach activities.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated with educational trends, teaching techniques, and curriculum changes.
- Participate in professional development programs and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Job Specification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Proven experience teaching students at the primary or secondary level.
- Experience in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans.
