Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and skilled Nepali Teacher to teach Nepali language and literature to Primary and Secondary level students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Nepali grammar, literature, and culture, and be able to engage students with dynamic lessons that inspire a love for the language. The teacher will create an enriching learning environment for students to develop proficiency in Nepali, both spoken and written, and cultivate an appreciation for Nepali literary works.

Lesson Planning and Delivery:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Nepali language lessons that cater to the developmental needs of young learners.
  • Teach foundational language skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Nepali.
  • Use interactive teaching methods, games, songs, and visual aids to make learning fun and effective.
  • Foster basic grammar understanding, vocabulary expansion, and sentence construction.

Classroom Management:

  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
  • Manage classroom behavior and promote cooperation and respect among students.
  • Provide individualized attention to students who may need extra help with language skills.

Assessments and Feedback:

  • Administer simple quizzes, tests, and informal assessments to evaluate students’ progress in Nepali.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
  • Track and monitor student progress and adapt lessons as needed to address individual learning needs.
Job Specification
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nepali, Education, or a related field.
  • A teaching certification in Education or a related subject is a plus.
  • A Master’s degree in Nepali or literature is preferred for Secondary Level teaching.
  • Proven experience teaching Nepali at the primary and secondary levels.
  • Experience working with students of diverse learning abilities and backgrounds.
  • Experience in preparing students for national exams or language proficiency tests (if applicable).
  • Strong command of spoken and written Nepali.
  • A deep understanding of Nepali grammar, literature, and poetry
