Job Description
Mathematics:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for middle and secondary level students in various areas of Mathematics (e.g., algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, etc.).
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national or international standards.
- Assess and monitor students' progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
- Provide extra support to students who need help understanding challenging mathematical concepts.
- Encourage the application of mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems.
Science:
- Teach science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) to middle school students.
- Create and conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to support theoretical knowledge.
- Develop and implement interactive science lessons that stimulate curiosity and encourage inquiry.
- Maintain a safe, hands-on, and engaging learning environment for students.
- Regularly assess student understanding through lab reports, tests, and assignments.
Computer Science:
- Teach foundational and advanced Computer Science concepts (e.g., programming, data structures, algorithms, web development, etc.).
- Develop engaging lessons on technology, coding, and computer applications.
- Encourage students to participate in coding challenges, programming contests, and technology projects.
- Keep students informed about the latest trends in computer science and technology.
- Assess student performance on programming tasks, assignments, and tests
Job Specification
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or diploma in Education is preferred.
- Additional certifications in subject-specific areas (e.g., programming languages, laboratory safety, etc.) are a plus.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics, Science, or Computer Science at the middle and secondary school levels.
- Strong understanding of mathematical theories, scientific principles, and computer science concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner
