Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and creative ECA Teacher to lead extracurricular activities in Music, Art, Dance, and Fabric Painting. The ideal candidate will have the skills to engage students of various age groups, foster their creativity, and create a positive, inclusive environment for learning. The role involves preparing lesson plans, organizing events, and guiding students through their artistic and creative expression.
Music:
Teach students basic to intermediate skills in vocal and instrumental music.
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that incorporate music theory, history, and practical exercises.
- Encourage students to perform in school events and concerts.
- Organize and lead music-related performances and showcase
Art:
- Teach a range of art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Introduce students to different artistic styles, movements, and history.
- Foster creativity through the development of individual and group art projects.
- Organize art exhibitions and student showcases.
Dance:
- Provide instruction in various dance styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.).
- Plan choreography for school performances and events.
- Guide students in learning rhythm, coordination, and expressive movement.
- Organize and lead dance performances or recitals.
Fabric Painting:
- Teach students the basics of fabric painting, including techniques like stenciling, freehand painting, and dyeing.
- Create projects for students to work on, such as designing T-shirts, bags, or home décor items.
- Foster an understanding of color theory and design principles in fabric art.
- Organize exhibitions or sales of students’ fabric painting projects.
Job Specification
- A degree or diploma in Music, Fine Arts, Dance, Fashion Design (for Fabric Painting), or a related field.
- Additional certification or training in specific arts disciplines will be a plus
- Proven experience as an art teacher, music instructor, dance teacher, or in a related field.
- Experience working with children or young adults in an extracurricular setting.
- Experience organizing performances, exhibitions, or shows is a significant advantage.
- Strong proficiency in various art forms, including but not limited to painting, music, and dance.
- Ability to teach multiple art forms and integrate them creatively in a diverse environment.
