Job Overview:
The Travel Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the travel company, including supervising daily operations, managing ticketing services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the travel industry and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the travel company.
- Supervise ticketing processes, ensuring timely and accurate booking services.
- Develop and implement travel policies and strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to secure the best rates.
- Manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
- Train and mentor staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Provide advice and assistance to clients regarding travel plans, visas, and other requirements.
- Stay updated on travel regulations, industry trends, and safety protocols.
Job Specification
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience (or more) in the travel industry, with a strong focus on ticketing and operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ticketing systems and software.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and analyze operational data.
- Familiarity with global travel regulations and visa requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in travel management or ticketing (e.g., IATA certification).
