Job Description
Job Overview:
The Customer Support Representative is primarily responsible for making outbound calls to customers, handling complaints, processing orders, providing information about products and services, and resolving customer queries. This role also involves managing incoming calls, performing basic documentation, and ensuring smooth customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making Outbound Calls: Reach out to customers to follow up on orders, gather feedback, and resolve issues or concerns.
- Call Management: Answer incoming customer calls, clear customer queries, and provide appropriate responses or escalate issues as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Handle and resolve customer complaints and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Provide detailed information to customers about the organization’s products, services, and offerings.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain and update records of customer interactions, orders, and complaints, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Multitasking: Handle multiple products and services at once while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Calmness Under Pressure: Maintain composure and a calm demeanor during busy periods or challenging customer interactions.
Job Specification
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum +2 or equivalent education (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Basic understanding of customer service processes and documentation.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in handling multiple product lines or services is a plus.
- Experience in making calls to customers and handling inbound/outbound call operations is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively make calls and clear customer queries.
