Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high-quality dining experiences.
  • Manage table reservations, seating arrangements, and workflow for optimal efficiency.

Team Leadership and Training

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including servers, chefs, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Customer Service

  • Ensure exceptional guest service, addressing feedback and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.

Financial Management

  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.

Menu Development and Quality Control

  • Collaborate with chefs on menu planning, seasonal updates, and special promotions.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion sizes.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and food safety protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with local laws and company policies.

Sales and Marketing

  • Develop and execute promotional activities to attract customers.
  • Work with the hotel’s marketing team to promote the restaurant through social media and other channels.

Reporting and Feedback

  • Prepare and present operational reports, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Job Specification:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in restaurant management, preferably in a high-end or rooftop dining setting.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and inventory control.

Personal Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
