Job Description
  • Brew and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and specialty drinks according to established standards
  • Greet customers, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system
  • Stay informed about coffee origins, brewing methods, and the menu to answer customer inquiries and provide excellent service
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment; perform regular cleaning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure that the work area, equipment, and tables are clean and organized. Follow health and safety regulations in food handling and cleanliness
  • Assist in managing stock levels and inventory, and report shortages or needed supplies to management
  • Work effectively with other team members to create a positive work environment and deliver a high level of service during busy times
Job Specification
  • Education in hospitality or related fields is a plus
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and different types of coffee beans
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
