Job Description
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with the company's objectives.
- Provide financial projections and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Develop financial forecasts to support long-term planning.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Interpret financial data and provide insights and analysis.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for operations and investments.
- Implement efficient cash management practices, including optimizing working capital.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Financial Audits:
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and financial reviews.
- Implement audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
Job Specification
- CPA/ACCA/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles within the automotive or distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
