Job Description
Giftmandu is Nepal’s leading gifting company, helping customers deliver gifts Nepal-wide. We are looking for a detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to manage daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of tax regulations in Nepal.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Handle daily transactions, reconciliations, and bank statements.
- Ensure timely filing of VAT, TDS, and other tax compliance requirements.
- Work closely with management to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Manage payroll processing and employee benefits.
- Coordinate with external auditors.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail.
- Strong knowledge of Nepal’s tax laws, VAT, and TDS regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel | Google Sheets.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Location: Nakhipot, Khumaltar, Lalitpur, Nepal
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Sunday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
