Job Description
- Record and verify journal entries for all financial transactions.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts.
- Maintain and update financial records, including sales, purchases, dues, and stock.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
- Handle customer accounts and ensure timely collections and payments.
- Process payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
- Calculate deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related adjustments.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and e-TDS compliance reports.
- Ensure adherence to taxation regulations and statutory filings.
- Handle TT (Telegraphic Transfer) and LC (Letter of Credit) transactions.
- Maintain banking relationships and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accurate posting of transactions and rectify discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of VAT, e-TDS, and taxation compliance.
- Experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of TT/LC transactions and banking operations.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data management.
