Job Description

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff including servers, cooks, and hosts.
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs to meet business needs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any complaints or issues.
  • Oversee service quality, ensuring that it meets the restaurant's standards.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure stock availability.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, including revenue and expense tracking.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to promote special events, new menu items, and other promotions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage any necessary repairs or maintenance of the restaurant equipment and facilities.
Job Specification
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
