Job Description

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been working in Nepal as a bilateral aid agency, undertaking development cooperation programs on behalf of the South Korean Government. KOICA is implementing various programs Projects, Dispatch of volunteers, and Fellowship Programs.

KOICA is looking for an experienced and qualified Nepali national to fill the following positions.

Position: Administrative Officer Contract Duration: Until March 31, 2024, from the appointment date (3 months Probation, Renewable after performance review) Duty Station: KOICA Nepal Office, Jwagal, Lalitpur Office Hours: Full-Time (09:00-17:00), Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assigned administrative work related to KOICA ODA Program coordination, networking, with Ministries and related stakeholders as required
  • Responsible for undertaking jobs related to an overall VAT refund of KOICA Nepal Office and KOICA projects
  • Undertake the responsibility of coordination, reporting, and monitoring operations of assigned projects of the KOICA Nepal Office
  • Perform active research on the new project development as recommended by the office
  • Maintain cordial relations with bilateral and multilateral stakeholders and take leadership in thematic meetings relevant to the office
  • Performs any other administration duties as assigned by Country Director.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with very Good Communication skills
  • Mandatory minimum 2 years work experience in the administrative sector
  • Multi-tasking and good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient Nepali and English language skills (speaking and writing good reports)
  • Establish a high and reliable network with relevant stakeholders.
  • Appropriate computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Nepali Citizen with a good health condition.
