Job Description

Outbound Tour Officer

  1. Preparing travel itineraries, package costing, and proposals. Also, design and create new tour packages as per the customer’s needs.
  2. Providing quotes of travel related services to individual and corporate clients as well as follow up with them.
  3. Responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, and social media, as well as assisting them in booking their vacation package.
  4. To follow up on customer inquiries, make outbound calls to them.
  5. Identifying the customer's need, establishing an immediate rapport, and providing advice to meet their needs.
  6. Correspondence, negotiation and liaison with suppliers to obtain necessary information required for a travel holiday package.
  7. To maximize the opportunities, up-sell and cross-sell additional travel products and services.
  8. To be able to process VISA of clients of different countries.
  9. Handle bookings for hotels, transportation and sites of excursion, also become responsible for tour operation.
  10. Collect information from tours leader after leading tours to find out good feedback for the service improvement
  11. Make research to find out more attractive tourism destination or sites
  12. To demonstrate a total commitment to customer service and to ensure that every customer has a holiday that exceeds their expectations.
  13. To create and sell fixed-departure or individually-designed tailor made tours for customers.
  14. To maximize revenue and profit, every genuine single query must be converted to a sale.

 

Ticketing Officer

  1. Your responsibilities will entail giving advice to clients, booking flights (Domestic and International) / issue tickets,
  2. Handling flight reservations, fare calculations, ticket modifications, cancellations, and reissues using GDS platforms.
  3. Collect PNR’s, issuing tickets, re-scheduling, and cancellations
  4. Collect and check documents as per country specific requirements. Handle ticketing enquiries including airfare quotations, reservations, and e-Ticket issuances.
  5. Working closely with leisure and corporate clients, airlines, travel agencies, transport, and other service providers. You will build strong, professional working relationships with them and all your main clients
  6. Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, availability, procedures and policies. Also, assist with all travel documents, which clients might request for their travel plans.
  7. Plan routes and compute ticket costs. You must handle complain and obtain feedback from customers along with upgradation of customer service.
  8. Determine whether the ticket is available on the required date requested by customer or not.
  9. Prepare customer invoices and accept payment.
  10. Follow up with airlines companies for refunding and capping tickets.
  11. This is a very diverse role and would vary from situation to situation.
Job Specification
  1. Minimum 1 year of experience required
  2. Bachelor/ Master, Graduate or post graduate.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
