Job Summary
The Area Sales Incharge is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales team to achieve targets, increasing customer acquisition, retention, and market share in the assigned area. This role focuses on expanding the broadband service’s footprint, generating revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned area.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet individual and team sales targets.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and drive expansion in untapped regions.
Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee acquisition activities, including door-to-door campaigns, promotional events, and partnerships with local businesses.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by addressing customer needs and concerns promptly.
- Promote loyalty programs or special offers to enhance customer retention rates.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Set performance targets for the team, monitor individual progress, and provide feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to align team efforts with company goals.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay competitive.
- Collect and report on sales performance metrics, market intelligence, and feedback.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to provide insights to management.
Campaign Support
- Work closely with the marketing team to support ongoing promotional campaigns, ensuring effective execution at the area level.
- Track campaign performance and suggest improvements based on market feedback and customer response.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain quality and service standards during customer interactions to uphold the company’s reputation.
Job Specification
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in a sales role, preferably in the broadband, telecommunications, or FMCG sector.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in sales and achieving targets.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
