Cakemandu Bakery Udhyog is looking for an energetic and friendly Counter Staff (female only) to join our team at our Koteshwor branch. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a passion for bakery products, and the ability to handle various tasks at the front counter. Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with selecting bakery items and placing orders.
2. Order Processing: Efficiently handle customer orders, both in-person and online, ensuring accuracy in orders and timely service.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about bakery products, ingredients, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
4. Cash Handling: Manage cash register transactions, including processing payments, handling cash, and providing change.
5. Order Packaging: Properly pack and present bakery items for takeaway, ensuring they are handled with care.
6. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the counter area clean, tidy, and organized at all times, including cleaning display shelves and ensuring products are well presented.
7. Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of stock levels of items in the display and inform the kitchen staff of restocking needs.
8. Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to the manager if necessary.
9. Online Orders: Assist with processing online orders and ensuring delivery or pickup orders are prepared and packaged correctly.
10. Upselling Products: Recommend additional products to customers to enhance their experience and boost sales.
11. Assist in Promotions: Promote new products, seasonal items, and ongoing offers to customers at the counter.
12. Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
13. Billing and Receipts: Issue bills and receipts to customers, ensuring all details are accurate.
14. Display Maintenance: Ensure the bakery display is always appealing, regularly restocking and replacing items as needed.

Job Specification

Requirements:

1. •Previous experience in customer service or counter staff role preferred but not mandatory.
2. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. •Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
4. •Must be friendly, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
5. •Basic knowledge of bakery products is a plus.
6. •Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment.
7. •Basic computer skills to handle online orders and POS systems.
