Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Australia Counselor to join our Kathmandu office. If you have expertise in handling student applications for Australian universities and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals, we would love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Counseling: Guide students on study opportunities in Australia, including admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and career prospects.
- Application Assistance: Manage student applications for Australian universities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university guidelines.
- GTE & SOP Support: Assist students in preparing a strong Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) documentation.
- Visa Guidance: Provide expert assistance with Australian student visa applications, ensuring compliance with DHA (Department of Home Affairs) regulations.
- University Coordination: Communicate with Australian universities regarding admissions, offers, and application updates.
- Documentation & Compliance: Review academic transcripts, financial documents, and other necessary paperwork for successful applications.
- Follow-ups & Support: Maintain regular communication with students and universities to ensure smooth processing.
- Market Research: Stay updated on Australian education policies, new university programs, and scholarship opportunities.
Job Specification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in the Australia department of an educational consultancy (Mandatory)
- Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory)
- Communication Skills: Strong English communication (written & verbal)
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian university admission processes, visa regulations, and scholarship options
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to counsel students and handle inquiries professionally
- Team Player: Strong ability to coordinate with colleagues and external stakeholders
