The Sales Operations Officer will support the Sales Operations Manager in supervising the day to day work of the sales operations team, ensuring adherence with SOPs and meeting of key performance metrics. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop processes and functionalities that enable the team to deliver five star service for internal/external customers, thereby enhancing the efficiency of QR revenue generating teams. Actively participate in building strong relationships and maintain good communication with regional counterparts in Sales, CBI, Shared Services, Digital and Marketing, as well as head office teams in RM/Pricing, Digital, Marketing, Global Sales and Finance.
Operational Accountabilities
- Monitor and adapt Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for sales operations ensuring alignment to QR’s global sales/sales operations principles.
- Lead the team engaged in sales operations activities including (but not limited to) Reservations and Ticketing, Group Sales, Sales Support, Sales Systems, and Sales Administration.
- Responsible for setting and implementing sales plans for the team.
- Establish customer activity and performance metrics (including B2B NPS) to drive data driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage translation of QR internal processes into customer-friendly, value added instruction to key trade customers and QR sellers and manage the communication with internal stakeholders to ensure an effective coverage of a customer perspective.

Qualifications
- Relevant College or University qualification
- Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in the English language
- PC literate with very good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Good knowledge of commercial contracts and finance related processes (invoice flow, ERP, payment processes)
- Good knowledge of airline processes (e.g. Pricing/distribution technology), systems (e.g. Amadeus, GDSes) and travel industry in general
- Problem-solving skills, efficiency oriented mindset
